About

Nandini Singh Jhabua

Art has always been an integral part of my life and heritage. Growing up in a family deeply connected to India’s traditional and tribal art forms, I developed a profound appreciation for the stories, culture, and spirit that these artworks embody. Through my gallery, I seek to celebrate and preserve these remarkable traditions while creating a platform for talented artists.

My collection primarily features wildlife art from the culturally rich regions of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. I also curate works from my family gallery, which includes Gond Art, one of India’s most ancient and distinctive tribal art forms, along with exquisite antique Pichwais that reflect the timeless beauty of Indian devotional and courtly traditions.

In addition to my passion for art, I am deeply committed to social causes and community welfare. I am proud to collaborate with The Rising World Foundation (RWF), founded by Marina Shaikh, which was established to help alleviate the suffering caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. As the Head of Communications and Fundraising, I work closely with the foundation to support its humanitarian initiatives.

This collaboration allows me to bring together my two greatest passions—promoting traditional tribal art and contributing meaningfully to society. By using my art collection as a platform for fundraising and awareness.

I hope to both support the work of the foundation and provide greater visibility to India’s extraordinary tribal artists.

Through PrincessofJhabua, my aim is not only to revive interest in India’s tribal art traditions but also to ensure that these artistic legacies continue to inspire future generations.

Above all, I believe that art has the power to connect cultures, uplift communities, and create meaningful change.

Warm regards,
